Demons of the Hearth

You used to be somebody. Now you are a beaten lord with your power in tatters and a bloodline falling apart. Rather than live with that, you head for Sanctus, a city where violence and betrayal are ordinary business, to find out who sold you out.

You work your way through the intrigue with charm, magic and a fair bit of espionage. What decides it are your allies: who you bring to your side determines whether the whole thing comes off or whether you land on your face a second time.

The writing puts its weight on relationships and how close they get as the story runs. The women around you are a mixed bunch, from monsters to some decidedly innocent company, and the dialogue is written with actual wit rather than as filler between scenes.

Technically it runs straight as HTML5 in the browser, so none of the usual Ren'Py loading. It plays free with no download on your phone: tap, travel to Sanctus, settle the score. Demons of the Hearth is made by Konvel, here in the 0.7.51 build.
