Dreamland

After a long stretch of everyone being stuck at home, you and your university crowd finally get away. The destination is Dreamland, a town that at first glance promises exactly what you want from spring break: parties, people, no obligations.

The second glance is a different matter. Something about the town does not add up, and the longer you stay the more you run into things nobody here wants to explain. So alongside the partying and the exploring there is a second layer running, and it gets uncomfortable as time goes on.

The game leans on tension accordingly rather than just flirting. There are puzzles and errands, there are moments that make you swallow hard, and your decisions determine how it all ends. Anyone after a straightforward holiday romance is in the wrong place.

Visually it is lively work, with animation rather than plain stills. It plays free with no download, right in your phone browser: tap, pack a bag, go. Dreamland is made by Dokiden, here in the 0.4.0p build.
