Insatiable

Danny is the guy for whom nothing ever lands. No job that leads anywhere, no woman who takes him seriously, and a daily grind that looks the same shade of grey every morning. Until he starts dreaming, and dreaming hard enough that the nights get more interesting than the days.

In those dreams a woman stands in front of him and calls him over, no preamble, with an urgency that will not let go of him afterwards. What grows out of it is a second world running beside his real one, where everything he was shut out of is suddenly on the table.

Who takes the lead in all this is not always Danny, and that is what gives the game its tone. The question humming in the background stays open right to the end: is this new life really what it looks like, or does he end up paying for it.
