Mad World

It starts in a bar. Someone is sitting there who makes you curious, and eventually claims to be a god. As proof he hands you a tiny piece of his powers, and with that a door swings open onto a place where violence and thoroughly nasty people set the tone.

It is not all gloom though. Alongside the enemies you find allies, and the story leaves room for hope. Seven chapters and several hours of playtime are waiting, and because the plot does not run in a straight line, a lot depends on who you listen to and who you follow.

The real draw is the cast. Each of them has her own personality, her secrets and her goals, and you hold several conversations in parallel. Take your time and actually ask questions and you learn things other players skim past. How close you get to anyone is your call, and nobody is pushed on you.
